satan is a punk

Posted on October 1, 2008 by Scott Turner

our brand new church trailer was stolen - it had all of our gear in it (over $90,000 worth)!  so satan is officially a punk!  the trailer was jacked from our secure storage facility and we have the 3 crooks on video (i’m seriously considering putting it on youtube if enough of you comment and request to view it).  basically they show up with a budget rent-a-truck and snoop around the lot for almost a full hour.  then they back up to our trailer, hitch it up and take off.  by the way, we totally forgive the trailer jackers and pray that somehow they experience God’s love, mercy and forgiveness in the near future.  ok, to further complicate things, our insurance company is basically trying to denying our claim due to a typo on the policy (yes, a typographical error that they made), so we had to retain an attorney late last night (he has agreed to represent us free of charge - talk about a miracle).  the upside is that there is such a fierce spirit of faith in the church right now and you can sense serious unity and momentum.  one way or another God will restore all our stuff and help us rebuild.  satan (the punk) must have thought if he jacked our stuff he could stop our church.  he was dead wrong!  the punk has poked the bear - it’s time to chase the punk, grizzly swat him to the ground and make him pay.  leviticus 26:7-8 says, “you will chase down your enemies and slaughter them… all your enemies will fall.”   the enemy will wish he never messed with us - he will pay for being a punk.

    Brother, I am so sad someone has done this to you! In your anger remember whay Jude say’s Jud 1:9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Let’s just rebuke him in Jesus name and go on. May the Lord bring those people to justice and come to the Lord! Stay dtrong and praise Jesus!!
    Rom 5:3 Not only so, but we* also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

    Im Jesus,
    Erich

    I am not a member of your church, but I would like to know if there are some things that people might be able to donate to help in even a small way. I agree about Satan, btw. When my husband discerned God was telling him to lead a team to Rwanda to help, his company suddenly dissolved his project, with no notice, after renewing and strengthening it only days before!

    All I can say is that you must have been doing something right, for Satan to want to shut you down so bad. Never forget that He is faithful to complete the work that He has begun, AND that even though this hurts, He has allowed it to happen, KNOWING how he will use it to benefit the Kingdom. God is not a waster of pain.

    Remember when Joseph reveals himself to his brothers after they come to him seeking food during the famine: 50:19 But Joseph answered them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 50:20 As for you, you meant to harm me, but God intended it for a good purpose, so he could preserve the lives of many people, as you can see this day. 50:21 So now, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your little children.” Then he consoled them and spoke kindly to them.

    Now, I am not saying that this doesn’t just totally BITE, lol. Know that you are in my prayers, and I hope that there is some way I can help.

    I believe you will have full restoration quickly and a boost in attendance thanks to the free publicity. Maybe the thieves will be some of the new members. All things are possible to those who believe!

    Love you all, Jim
